HYDRAMIX
HYDRAMIX PROCESS
The Hydramix process is an advanced treatment solution designed to effectively remove hydrocarbons, oil, fats, grease, and other pollutants from contaminated water. This multi-stage treatment cycle is specifically tailored to meet the unique needs of each application, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Hydramix achieves an impressive 99.9% removal of pollutants, delivering clean, treated water that meets stringent environmental standards. Whether dealing with industrial wastewater or other forms of contaminated water, Hydramix provides a reliable and sustainable solution for water purification and pollution control.

THESE BASIC STAGES BEING:
The Hydramix process is highly adaptable and can be tailored to treat specific contaminated wastewater streams, ensuring effective and efficient treatment for a wide range of applications.
Stage 1:
The process begins when ions produced by the Ion Generator are introduced into mixers, along with the contaminated water and poly-electrolyte. The specific type of ions used will vary depending on the nature of the application and the contaminants present.
Stage 2:
The mixture is then transferred to a calming tank, where settling occurs. During this stage, flocculation and precipitation take place, causing the pollutants to aggregate and form larger particles (flocs), which are easier to remove.
Stage 3:
Flotation is used to remove the flocs, along with any precipitate, from the water. This stage ensures that the majority of contaminants are separated, leaving clean water as the final product.
TYPES OF CONTAMINANTS REMOVE
-
Dissolved Oil: Oil droplets smaller than 2 microns, which are difficult to separate using conventional methods.
-
Solids Coated with Oil: Heavy solids that are denser than water and coated with oil, making them challenging to remove.
-
Heavy Metals: Contaminants such as lead, mercury, and other metals that pose a significant environmental and health risk.
-
Petrochemicals: Hydrocarbons and other chemicals commonly found in industrial wastewater, including those from oil and gas operations.
The Hydramix process efficiently removes these types of contaminants, ensuring clean, treated water suitable for safe discharge or reuse.
