Hydraspin – Hydrocyclone Oil-Water Separation System
Harnessing the power of centrifugal force, Hydraspin separates 95% of 10-micron (and larger) oil droplets using 3,000 times the force of gravity. Hydraspin relies on centrifugal separation, making it faster, more effective, and less maintenance-intensive.
The Hydraspin is scientifically engineered to meet the specific needs of each client. Our Hydraspin technology effectively targets and removes:
Free oil (droplets >150 microns)
Emulsified oil (150–2 microns)
Dissolved oil (<2 microns)
Oil-coated solids (heavy, denser-than-water particles)
This precise engineering allows for final discharge water quality between 20–30 mg/l, with some applications achieving as low as 2.5 mg/l. Furthermore, oil recovery rates reach 97–98% dry, allowing for resale or reuse whilst adding direct economic value to our clients’ operations.
